Literature Text

Said the fly to the spider.
Everything I do;
Is not good enough for you.
And being me;
Is a bad symphony.
I'm tired of my head;
But I don't want to be dead.
And believe me, mister spider;
I am just a little fly.
And believe me, mister spider;
I don't want to say goodbye.
But I must go;
Because I know;
That you me to want be dead.
But not in your web--
Too good, you said.

Said the spider to the fly.
You're a disgrace;
So get out of my face.
And your past is spilling out on the floor;
And I want to shut the door;
But I can't, anymore.

Said the fly to the web.
You hang down from the sky;
Shimmer in the moonlight;
Little threads see the sunlight;
Shifting down from the stars.
And you don't want me here.
But that's okay;
Neither do I.

Said the fly to the fly.
I know I must go;
But I'm going too slow;
They'll have fun watching the show--

I hope
